Data Processing Agreement

Roles

Where a business customer supplies personal data to Aduana Global Trade for the purpose of arranging sourcing, shipping or customs clearance, the customer acts as controller and we act as processor for that data.

Scope of processing

We process personal data only on documented instructions from the customer, for the following purposes:

• Preparing quotations and purchase documentation.
• Arranging inspection, freight, insurance and customs clearance.
• After-sales support relating to the shipment.

Our commitments

• We keep processing limited to the duration of the engagement plus the retention period set out in our Data Retention Policy.
• We bind personnel with access to a duty of confidentiality.
• We apply the safeguards described in our Information Security Policy.
• We use only the subprocessors listed in our Subprocessor List, and give notice before adding a new one.
• We assist the customer with data subject requests and, where applicable, with breach notification.
• On termination we delete or return personal data, except where retention is legally required.
